Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
At SignCraft Solutions, we’re committed to making your signage experience smooth, professional, and long-lasting. Here are answers to some common questions:
Banners
Q: What types of materials do you use for banners?
We use durable fabric and vinyl materials suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Our banners are lightweight, weather-resistant, and ideal for short- to medium-term promotions.
Q: Are your banners safe for outdoor use?
Yes, but please note that fabric banners are subject to environmental conditions like wind and rain. Always anchor them securely, and consider adding “wind holes” for high-wind areas.
Q: How do I clean and maintain my banner?
Use mild detergent and water to clean your banner. Avoid harsh cleaners, solvents, or abrasive tools to prevent damage.
Q: How should I store my banner?
Roll (don’t fold) the banner around a 4–5 inch tube, with graphics facing outward. If your banner has vinyl letters, place a sheet of paper over the design to avoid adhesive transfer.
Q: Can I reuse my banner next year?
Absolutely! If stored properly, we can help update your banner with new dates or wording for reuse.
Magnets
Q: How long will my magnetic sign last?
Your magnetic sign is made from high-quality materials and can last a long time with proper care. However, because signs are exposed to varying weather conditions and installation habits, we do not offer any warranty or guarantee on magnetic signage.
⚠️ Important: SignCraft Solutions is not responsible for damage due to misuse, improper storage, or environmental exposure. Longevity depends entirely on how the sign is handled and maintained.
Q: How do I install my magnetic sign?
Wash & dry the vehicle surface.
Wax the area where the sign will go – this protects your paint.
Place the sign carefully – if it’s not aligned, remove and reapply. Don’t slide it.
⚠️ Never apply a magnetic sign to fresh paint. Wait at least 60 days after painting.
Q: How often should I clean the sign?
At least once a week:
Remove the sign
Clean both the sign and vehicle surface
Dry thoroughly and reposition slightly to avoid paint discoloration
Use a mild detergent and soft sponge.
❌ Don’t submerge in water, use steam cleaners, or take it through a car wash.
Q: What’s the best way to store my magnetic sign?
When not in use, store your sign:
Flat on a metal surface (like a fridge or filing cabinet), OR
Rolled with the magnetic side in using a 3” diameter mailing tube
⚠️ Don’t leave it unrolled in a hot car. High temperatures can warp or ruin the sign.
❓ My sign got bent. Is it ruined?
Not necessarily!
Lay it flat on a clean metal surface for 24 hours. Most signs will flatten out unless they’re severely creased or folded.
Q: Can I store my sign inside the vehicle?
Only if it’s:
Flat and on a cool, metal surface
Not exposed to direct sunlight or heat
⚠️ NEVER leave it unprotected in a hot vehicle — interior heat can destroy the magnetic material.
